The Great Basin National Park Foundation was established in 1998 to support Great Basin National Park. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and has been able to support Great Basin National Park in several projects, including increasing access to park trails, recording and transcribing oral histories, and designing and fabricating museum exhibits for the new Great Basin Visitor Center in Baker, Nevada.

How you can help

We rely on donations from individuals like you to continue the community service projects that we work so hard to provide. The Foundation supports the park so that future generations will enjoy wide open landscapes, clean air, dark night skies, vigorous and diverse native ecosystems, and thriving local cultures. The efforts of the Foundation enhance the presence of all park visitors. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Our five flagship projects include:

Oral History Project

Night Skies Telescope

Electric/Hybrid Vehicles

Marketing Outreach Project

Traveling Educational Exhibits
