Reach for the Stars, the education initiative of the Great Basin Observatory, goal is to inspire young people, park visitors, and the public, literally everywhere, to explore science and feel a sense of wonder and awe at the scale and complexity of the cosmos, while preserving our one and only Earth.

Reach for the Stars will be providing materials and trainings to teachers and community leaders in the Great Basin area. In 2019, traveling “night-sky-box” teacher kits will be available for K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 classrooms.
