Great Basin National Park Foundation, the nonprofit partner of Great Basin National Park, is searching for enthusiastic individuals to join our Advisory Board, Board of Directors, and Strategic Communication, Development, and Education Committees. If you desire to share your time, skills, and talent, to benefit environmental conservation, public land stewardship, and the Great Basin region, you may be the perfect person to drive our initiatives to new heights.

Great Basin National Park Foundation is committed to generating private support, building strategic partnerships, and delivering programs that enhance, preserve, and protect the Great Basin region. We foster peoples’ connection with Great Basin National Park so its wonder is protected and preserved for generations to come.
Opportunities: Advisory Board Member, Strategic Communication Committee Member, Development Committee Member, Education Committee Member, Board Member. We are seeking individuals who possess:

Passion for the Environment and National Parks: A deep commitment to conservation and the national park system.

Expertise: Background or experience in one or more of the following:

Fundraising
-
Government and Public Affairs

Finance
-
Subject matter talent (tribal relations / climate science / environmental education)

Strategic Vision and Strategic Connections: Ability to contribute fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. Ability to bring a strategic connection to diverse communities, or individuals in Nevada or Utah, or those who would like to support our mission.

Commitment: Willingness to actively engage through phone calls and virtual meetings, contribute time and expertise, and support fundraising efforts.
